SPITZNER ENGINEERS is an engineering office that operates in the field of aeronautical and wind energy engineering.
In the area of research and development we are a specialist for composite structures and aerodynamics.
We have focused ourselves on the design and dimensioning of light-weight structures consisting of composites especially carbon fibre reinforced plastics (CFRP).
Our employees are solely experienced aeronautical or aerospace engineers.
The tools that form the basis of our activities are CATIA V5 and Patran/Nastran and miscellaneous CFD programmes. Multiple inventions and patent applications document our focus on research and development.
In government funded partner projects with the wind power industry sector we are developing trendsetting rotor blades for modern wind power plants.
The first wind turbines with greatly improved efficiency are already successful in operation.
As a partner in the aerospace research program LUFO IV we are engineering concepts and studies for aircraft structures consisting of CFRP and present-day metal alloys, are working on aerodynamic challenges of future airplane concepts and are developing new production technologies for CFRP components.
Combining aeronautics and wind energy we have found a new successful perspective.
